The Task

Fry-Wagner was tasked with relocating and installing furniture and fixtures for a major online furniture retailer. This online retailer was in search of a logistics provider with a cost effective program and an expertise in installation to receive, warehouse, transport and install furniture and fixtures. Fry-Wagner was thrilled to be a part of this project and assist the retailer with all their logistics needs.

The Project

The retailer provided Fry-Wagner with all the necessary information needed for the project such as the list of inventory, assembly instructions and a project timeline. Fry-Wagner analyzed the scope of work to determine the work force required to efficiently manage the delivery process to each customer and estimate the amount of hours needed on-site to put together the most cost effective program, custom to each project. As product shipped, Fry-Wagner managed all the inbound receiving to our warehouses nationwide and the final mile delivery schedules of the product to the end customers.  With the delivery dates confirmed, Fry-Wagner coordinated the installation process with the installation teams throughout our network to ensure the product was assembled and installed to the retailer’s standards. Fry-Wagner takes pride in utilizing a best in class installation network to select the highest quality installers in each market. To finalize the completion of each project, our team took photos of the assembled fixtures, and sent confirmation directly to the retailer’s team for review to confirm that the job was completed to their satisfaction.
