Job Description
ABC-Fry-Wagner, Inc. is seeking full-time Heavy Tractor-Trailer Drivers to join our team in Lenexa, Kansas. As a driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods across local, intrastate, and interstate routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned company vehicles for local, intrastate, and interstate moves.
- Plan, pack, load, transport, unload, and properly place goods.
- Lift up to 50 pounds during packing, loading, and unloading trucks.
- Complete accurate shipping documents.
- Perform safety inspections on trucks as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
- Ensure compliance with FMCSR requirements.
- Maintain an accurate Driver’s Daily Log per FMCSR standards.
- Uphold a clean driving record.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL license (or ability to obtain by employment start date).
- Ability to travel at least 50% for intrastate and interstate routes.
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check.
- Must successfully complete a post-offer drug screen, driving test, and DOT physical examination.
